Store orders

Walgreens.com non-prescription store orders are shipped by our affiliated couriers to the 50 United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. . We are currently unable to ship to other U.S. Territories or to APO/FPO addresses or PO boxes.

Shipping to the 48 contiguous states

The charge for shipping most orders weighing 10 pounds or less to the 48 contiguous states is $5.49. Portions of your order that qualify for free shipping or have flat shipping fees are not included when calculating the weight of your order. You'll find each item's weight on its details page.

Shipping outside of the 48 contiguous states

The charge for shipping most orders weighing 10 pounds or less outside of the 48 contiguous states is $19.99. The charge for shipping orders weighing more than 10 pounds is $19.99 for the first 10 pounds, plus $1.99 for each additional pound. Free shipping offers and flat shipping fees do not apply to orders shipping outside of the 48 contiguous United States.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) prohibits air shipment of items that could present a hazard during transportation. Since orders shipping outside of the 48 contiguous states are sent by air only, DOT-restricted items cannot be shipped to those areas. If you attempt to have restricted items outside of the 48 contiguous states, you will be notified about the restrictions at checkout. DOT-restricted items include but are not limited to flammable substances and products in pressurized containers.

Shipping Restricted

If you live outside of the continental U.S., items indicated as "Shipping restricted" cannot be delivered. This is because such an order must be shipped by air. According to federal laws, potentially harmful items (i.e. flammable substances) cannot be shipped by air. You will be notified at checkout if your order contains any of these items. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Some continental states have laws that may prevent one or more of your products from being delivered. You will be notified at checkout if your order contains any of these items.

Flat shipping fee items

Some items have individual flat shipping fees, which will be charged in place of standard shipping fees when these items are shipped to the 48 contiguous states. If these fees apply, you'll find them listed on each item's detail page (e.g., "Flat shipping fee: $45."). Shipping for other items in the same order will be calculated according to standard rates. Flat shipping fees do not apply to orders shipping outside of the 48 contiguous United States.

Ships for FREE

Items marked with the green Ships for FREE truck automatically receive free shipping to the 48 contiguous states. Free shipping does not extend to other items in your order, and does not apply to orders shipping outside of the 48 contiguous United States.

FREE shipping eligible

Items marked as FREE shipping eligible ship for free to the 48 contiguous states when the subtotal of eligible items in your cart reaches $50 or more. If the subtotal of your eligible items is less than $50, then the regular fee of $5.49 applies. Eligible items include those marked FREE shipping eligible and those marked Ships for FREE.

Free shipping does not extend to other items in your order, and does not apply to orders shipping outside of the contiguous United States..

You will not be charged the basic shipping fee twice in one order. If you do not order enough eligible items to qualify for free shipping, but you also have ineligible items in your cart, you will only be charged the shipping fees for the ineligible items.

Products that do not count toward the $50 FREE shipping eligible minimum:

• Products with individual flat shipping fees
• Contact lenses
• Pharmacy items
• Photo Center items (prints, photo gifts, etc.)

Shipping charges by weight

For items and orders that are shipping to the 48 contiguous states, weigh more than 10 pounds, and do not qualify for any free shipping offer or flat shipping fees, shipping charges will be calculated at $5.49 for the first 10 pounds, plus $0.49 for each additional pound. Portions of your order that qualify for free shipping offers or have flat shipping fees will not be included when calculating the weight of your order. You'll find each item's weight on its details page.

For orders that are shipping outside of the contiguous United States and weigh more than 10 pounds, shipping charges will be calculated at $19.99 for the first 10 pounds, plus $1.99 for each additional pound. All items will be included when calculating the weight of your order.

Pharmacy orders

We ship Walgreens.com pharmacy orders to the 50 United States. Online pharmacy orders ship from our fulfillment center, not from your local Walgreens store.

Most pharmacy orders ship within 2 business days after the order is placed. After your order is processed, please allow 5 to 10 business days for delivery via standard shipping. Shipping time for 2-day and overnight delivery cannot be guaranteed, and additional time may be needed for deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii or remote areas.

Pharmacy orders do not qualify for free shipping promotions.

Contact lens orders

We ship Walgreens.com contact lens orders to the 50 United States. At this time, contact lens orders cannot ship to addresses in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands or other American territories. Online contact lens orders ship from our contact lens fulfillment center, not from your local Walgreens store.

Contact lenses are shipped separately from other store items. Contact lens solutions and accessories are considered general store merchandise. Even if you order general store merchandise in the same cart with contact lenses, the general store merchandise will be shipped separately and you will be charged standard shipping fees for those items.

If your order includes both contact lenses and general store merchandise, only standard shipping is available. After your contact lens order is processed, please allow 3 to 5 business days for delivery via standard shipping. For contact lens-only orders, express shipping is also available and requires 1 business day after your order has been processed.

FREE standard contact lens shipping

Contact lens orders with subtotals of $50 or more will automatically receive FREE standard shipping. The subtotal for contact lenses alone must be $50 or more to qualify. General store merchandise in the same order does not count toward the $50 minimum, and regular store shipping charges will apply to that portion of your order.

Contact lens orders do not count toward the $50 minimum for general FREE shipping eligible merchandise. Free shipping is not available for orders shipping to Alaska or Hawaii.
